Mission Statement
Through funds raised by our agents and staff, our mission is to support select organizations dedicated to making Western Montana a better place to live.
Purpose
The Foundation was created in 1998 by Gillespie Realty (now Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Montana Properties) as a vehicle that would allow them to give something tangible back to the community in the form of personal and financial support. Our superb track record is reflected in the feeling the agents have about this community. Agents are not only outstanding among their peers, but they give back their financial support to the community at every turn. You will find them on boards serving day cares, museums and philanthropic organizations. You will find our agents offering their time, their money and their hearts to the city of Missoula.
Selection Criteria
- Enhance the community by making Missoula a better place to live.
- Non-profit community based organization.
- Specific cause or project (not administrative purposes).
- Have broad-based appeal.
